New Chapter!

As of this summer, I’ve stepped down from my position as Associate Professor of Music and Chair of the Department of Music Theory, History, and Composition at The Catholic University of America. I’ve so enjoyed working with the many students that have come through our programs, but after 16 years I’m ready for something new. I’m so happy to share that I’ll be starting work shortly as Artistic and Executive Director with Amadeus Concerts, a wonderful organization based in Great Falls/McLean, VA! Amadeus has been putting on concerts and educational opportunities for over 40 years. I’m so excited to be joining their team, and I look forward to the musical adventures we’ll have together in the wonderful Northern Virginia community where I live and raise my family. Please give Amadeus a like/follow on facebook and instagram, and come check out one of our events in the future! Composing will still of course be a major part of my life (new string quartet coming in Spring 2026!), and I’ll also be continuing my work building Little City Concerts in Falls Church City. While I’m out of academia at the moment, I hope to eventually get back to teaching, and will be looking to take on private students in composition, music production, and music theory starting in the fall.
